Connecting hardware

DirectorMonitor can interact with a wide variety of different hardware devices to expand the your presentation for recording, streaming or live presentations. One word of caution, in most cases, compatibility is between the iPad and the hardware not DirectorMonitor which simply connects as appropriate. Feel free to reach out to Odeon Software support with questions on compatibility but be sure to save your receipts if the hardware proves to be incompatible.

Black Magic Design’s ATEM Mini Family of Switchers and other Third Party Switchers

The BlackMagic Design ATEM Mini Switchers have been a runaway hit with creators, podcasters and presenters. DirectorMonitor can connect over your network to directly control many of the functions of the ATEM mini. Control of the switcher or macros can even be automatically executed as a part of the presentation. Even preview and manage recordings stored on external media that is connected to the ATEM Mini.
