More on Trimming Videos
Setting the beginning and ending points for a video can be crucial to getting your point across. Files and Photos videos are trimmed and since these video types are copied into the Event Presentation, the trimming also has the added benefit of make the internal video file size smaller.
During playback the position indicator will scroll to the position of the video. If desired the video playback position may be adjusted by sliding the position indicator to the desired position of the video.
To Trim the video tap the Trim Video button. A secondary window will appear. Slide the handle at the beginning or end of the video to adjust the trim. Tap the Trim button to the right of the thumbnails to finalize the trim.
After trimming the video the updated video may be saved by tapping the Save button on the toolbar. This replaces the original video and cannot be undone. The Trimmed Video may als be Re-Trimmed or the original video may be access to start the trimming process over again. Tapping the Cancel button cancels the entire trimming operation.
For Web and YouTube videos the Thumbnails are not available to see and since these video types are actually streamed and not stored locally they may not be trimmed. Instead the beginning and ending points of the video may be set by sliding the handles on the video scrubber. These values are saved and applied during The Event Presentation. The audio level may also be adjusted.
YouTube Video have the same adjustment possible except the audio level may not be adjusted.
