HomeKit

Connecting HomeKit devices is simple. Allow DirectorStudio access to HomeKit and the selected Home will automatically appear in the HomeKit Tab.

If the HomeKit tab is not available, launch the iPad’s Settings App and locate the DirectorStudio settings area. This is also accessible by selecting “Device Setting” in DirectorStudio’s Main Menu. Turning the Home Data Option on Allows DirectorStudio to interact with HomeKit Devices.

Other Devices

Based on your needs additional hardware can be used to present or record your Event Presentation.

Use a capture card to import the presentation video out of the iPad into a Mac or PC for use with various software like OBS, QuickTime, or any software that displays the output of a WebCam like Skype or Zoom.

Record the Event Presentation directly to a HDMI recorder. Many are available some with screens that can double as a preview monitor.


Additionally, USB C Hubs, portable monitors, microphones, keyboards, mice, can all be used with DirectorStudio. As the iPad continues to mature as a laptop replacement new and exciting possibilities will help DirectorStudio to increase in power and flexibility.
