Best Practices for Creating & Presenting

• Place iPad in Guided Access mode to avoid accidentally switching to a different App and losing the connection to the external monitor.

• Turn on Do Not Disturb or another Focus mode to avoid notification interruptions

• Download Videos and use Files or Photos to import directly versus relying on Internet Connectivity

• To save on storage have videos edited to the starting point and length before adding to DirectorStudio, this will be a smaller file size.

• Directly import a music file directly from the Files App

• Crop Images to a 16x9 Aspect ratio when possible with the correct full size framing.

• If you have HomeKit devices in your home create a second home for use by DirectorStudio.  If possible use a separate WiFi Network and HomeHub

• Use actions as slides in your event presentation to ensure certain actions are accomplished as needed

• Use a Network ethernet cable (with a network router or switch) to avoid connecting to the ATEM Mini over WiFI.

• Create templates for Events like Podcasts, seminars and regular presentations. Then customize with event specific details.

• Use Text Tag to allow reusing text on multiple slides and update the Text Tag text value to allow it to automatically update on slides with that tag.
