Best Practices for Presenting

• Place iPad in Guided Access mode to avoid accidentally switching to a different App and losing the connection to the external monitor.

• Turn on Do Not Disturb to avoid notification interruptions

• Download Videos and use Files or Photos to import directly versus relying on Internet Connectivity for streaming content.

• Directly import a music file directly from the Files App

• Crop Images to a 16x9 Aspect ratio when possible with the correct full screen framing.

• If you have HomeKit devices in your home create a second home for use by DirectorStudio.  If necessary use a separate WiFi Network and HomeHub.

• Use actions as slides in your event presentation to ensure certain actions are accomplished as needed

• Use a Network ethernet cable (with a hub) to avoid connecting to the ATEM Mini over WiFi.

• When modifying most Picture in Picture actions, be sure to call “Update PIP” to have the actions processed. Only PIP Active does not require calling “Update PIP”.
